Today I, Lucia and Raffaele (after another working day…) went to Castell’Arquato to eat something…
The place was so crowded that we could hardly find a parking for our car! All the resturants was full, and we had to try with simple sandwitch taken in the main square of town…
Realy beautiful medieval town build over the rocks.

Two shots of Milan skyline taken from the IT Manager office located in one of most hight city’s skyscrapers.
You can see some of city simbols during a sunny day: Duomo, Torre Velasca, San Siro Statium, Pirelli skyscraper and central station.
IMHO: Milan skyline is very flat…

I love London!
Every time I come back in London I’d like to stay there more and more times… But the day after tomorrow, I’ve got to return in Italy.
Take a walk in the city, during the sunset, when all the people go out from their offices it’s incredible! The pubs become full of businessmen, in the streets you can see only taxy and doble-floar crowded red-busses… and the lights in the skyscrapers begin to be switched on… and they’re only a typical day-to-day things…
I have to plan a “round trip” in Spring. Do you want to come with me?

Yesterday I came back from Romania with Alitalia (McDonnell-Douglas MD-80), and this morning I took off from Bergamo to London with Boing 737 by Ryanair (my prefered airline).
Well… I love the “elaborated lunch” offered by Alitalia during the flight (you can see some differences between two different flights), not so good… but really funny
Only one problem…. Alitalia (in Malpensa airport) has lost my baggage (yes! once again!!!). Unbelievable!!!

Two hours of flight, warm weather and one baggage lost (!!!!!!) … Hello Bucharest!
After landing I and Evelino have scheduled a meeting with Antonella and dinner with Serban. Hard work will attend us for next days.
Bucarest is a strange city. The big, modern and “power” buildings realized during Ceausescu “government” are now old and poor. Into the down town you can find enormous public squares and “not-so-cleaned” little alleys…
The people is fantastic! Anyone help you to find wath you are looking for. Sometimes poor childrens ask you some money, and sometimes they don’t ask you but try anyway to get some money (or camera, or anythigs else…) from your pockets… Usual day-to-day life in a country where most of the people is not able to buy oil, but all the others use Mercedes Class S and five starts hotel…
In these few days I’ve known a lot of great people! Someone works in university, someone in software house companies… but every person I’ve met is vey skilled and has a strong ability in IT sector. No way to make competition with this guys… Italian software engineer and architect: you must be attention…

This week I had to teach Java J2EE tecnology to realy good students in Torino. Tomcat, Struts and Java Web Applications were the focus of the course. A good occasion to visit Torino, a big industrial city in Italy.

A little trip with Lucia in Karlsruhe during the Linux Tag 2005. Very nice place, a typical german town: green parks, efficient public transits, crowded and pedestrian center. It’s a beautiful place to live in!

Today I landed to London Heathrow, very big and crowded airport. Thanks to British Airways for the “good” pizza (not so good actually, but it was better then “Alitalia” dept freeze sandwich…), offered during the flight.
Only one problem: Brithis has lost my baggage during the London-Milan flight… I’m waiting for it and its precious content: power supply for my laptop, my palm and my cell phone… :-/
