LinuxDay 2008 - Lodi
As usual, during last week of October, Linux Day was made in Italy, in more than 123 cities!
It’s one of the most exciting event about OpenSource in Italy. I’ve got the honour to present a couple of talks about Fedora and the history of Linux (as “political” talk) and Ruby on Rails (as technical talk).
I’m not sure why some guys want to change the event name to “gnu/linuxday” (it’s horrible!).
I hope it still remains just “Linux Day”

Vogliono chiamarlo GNU/Linuxday perché il sistema operativo si chiama GNU/Linux, non Linux. Linux è soltanto il kernel.

Linux non e’ piu’ “soltanto” un kernel. E’ il nome con cui si identifica IL sistema operativo open basato su quel kernel…

Linux is no longer “just” a kernel, but it’s the name that identifies the Open System based on that kernel…
