I was at the RedHat Partner Forum in Cannes (France) between the 26th and 28th of April.

A realy nice event with some big-boss from RedHat. The event was reserved only to RedHat Advanced Partners, and we were guest in Sofitel Mediterrane in Cannes during the event.

The event started with a cocktail on the 7th floor at 7:00 PM, that continued until night, among drinks and alcoholics… (snack, music, girls, rock and roll, and so on…)

In the next morning, at 8.00 AM, I had breakfast (french croissants and toast with honey) with some friends from Bristol and London.

After a boring kick-off (only 4 hours during the morning), the partners were divided into different teams for sailing activities planned for the afternoon.
The sailing regatta started at 2.00 PM with 5 boats, but after few minutes our skipper offered us some beer and some strange cocktails, and the result was clear: we arrived last at the finish line

In the evening we left Cannes to go to a small town in Provence for a great french dinner (based on “foie gras” and another heavy dishes…). I spent much time talking to Netherlands and French partners.
The last day of the event started with a round-table workshop with RedHat managers and regional partners: the goal waas to find some suggestions that could help RedHat and Partners businnes in different countries.

The morning ended with bowl activities and a “light” lunch in a resturant placed on the croisettes.
